Digital security and privacy specialist Avast has announced a new partnership with Recorded Future, one of the world’s largest providers of intelligence for enterprise security.
The move will see Avast contribute intelligence on common vulnerabilities and exploit prevalence (CVE) to the intelligence firm’s real-time intelligence reports.
Recorded Future’s Intelligence Platform enables organisations to accelerate detection, decision making, and response times. Essentially, the offering places real-time intelligence at the heart of security workflows and sends out daily threat intelligence reports to its customers.
This new partnership will see Avast provide CVE prevalence threat intelligence from their global endpoint telemetry to boost these security insights.

Recorded Future specialises in delivering accurate and actionable intelligence through a combination of automated data collection and human analysis. The firm currently provides this intelligence to more than 1,000 businesses and government organisations around the world.
The insights created by the firm’s Intelligence Platform allow enterprises to prioritise alerts, calculate risk scores for patching, as well as make better-informed decisions on how to tackle threats – all through a single source of security intelligence.

The deal with Recorded Future is the latest to be signed as part of the Avast Partner team, which was set up to make it easier for Avast partners to bring bespoke AI-driven cyber security to their customers.
