Avanan officially launches global partner programme
The announcement follows increases to its executive and sales engineering headcount

Cloud email and collaboration security specialist Avanan has formally cut the ribbon on its new Global Channel Partner Program.
The initiative has been designed to offer VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs the opportunity to extend Avanan’s patented pre-delivery protection, which stops the delivery of malicious emails before they reach the inbox.
Compatible with collaboration apps such as Microsoft Teams and file-sharing platforms like Dropbox, Avanan scans emails after default security software but before the inbox – which the firm says leads to a 99.2% reduction in phishing emails reaching their destination.
The new Global Channel Partner Program will be led by Michael Lyons, the firm’s vice president of Global Channels, who is focused on global growth of the entire channel ecosystem.
“With a channel first commitment model, Avanan invested early into a seamless, easy-to-navigate, tier-less channel partner program that gives partners an even playing field opportunity to reach success together,” Lyons commented.
Back in 2020, Avanan launched its Partner Portal, which has been designed to make it easy for partners to onboard and start selling. With a one-click, zero-touch deployment model, it offers instant protection for end-users, as well as a fast and increasing revenue stream for service providers.
Avanan says this solution offers channel partners an easily deployable product with short evaluation and POC times.

The channel programme announcement marks the next step in what has already been a busy year for the company. Behind the scenes, it has added to its executive headcount, including Chris Blum as vice president of Marketing, while its sales engineering staff have also been expanded.
Avanan has also recently started a Partner Success programme and allocated a budget for marketing and partner activities to help increase channel revenue.
“As we continue building out the program globally, we welcome partners looking to engage with a vendor that prides itself on the ability to easily do business,” Lyons added.
