Email Laundry in Webroot clean up

The Email Laundry, Ireland’s largest email services provider, is looking to tempt Webroot partners to its platform with a generous contract buyout and migration services.

The service provider has also poached former Webroot channel manager Colin Ball to help it onboard the several hundred partners affected by Webroot’s decision to cease email security services.

In addition to its 150 resellers, The Email Laundry provides its service as a white label to 10 sizable service providers. According to the firm’s CEO, Ken Bagnall, sometimes resellers need to ask if their supplier is actually charging them enough to maintain profitability. “Webroot clearly wasn’t,” he adds.

The Email Laundry has developed its own in-house scanning platform which Bagnall points out continually hits 99 percent+ detection rates in the respected Virus Bulletin Report. The firm is also launching a Brand Reputation service and a “Track and Trace” secure email to its channel which Bagnall feels will help partners upsell additional services to customer that take its core email filtering.
