Security vendor AlienVault has recruited former FireEye VP Catherine Kelly to head up sales across EMEA.
Kelly (pictured) will be responsible expanding AlienVault’s business in the region and for all of its partner and customer relationships.
According to AlienVault, Kelly joins the firm at a time when bookings growth exceeds 65 percent year-over-year and new customer growth exceeds 75 percent. In addition, the company recently closed $52m in its Series E funding round.
“With her unique expertise in both global sales and network security, we’re excited to have Catherine join our team during this tremendous period of growth,” comments Justin Endres, SVP of worldwide sales at AlienVault.
“We’ll look to her to build on our momentum and expand our presence in the EMEA region as we continue to help our customers prioritise the threats that put their business at risk.”
Prior to joining AlienVault, Kelly served as vice president of worldwide commercial sales at FireEye. She has also held positions at IT services companies including ServiceSource, Dell and EMC.
