NightDragon announces Exclusive Networks partnership amid European expansion

Cyber security investment and advisory firm NightDragon has partnered with Exclusive Networks in a move that will see the distributor help drive the emerging vendors’ channel presence.

As part of a new master agreement partnership, Exclusive Networks will leverage its Ignition business to guide NightDragon portfolio start-ups’ channel and distribution strategies in Europe.

The firm says it will focus accelerating cyber security innovation in the region, scaling out existing portfolio companies, as well as jointly identifying the next wave of cyber security innovators and technologies.

“Exclusive Networks has proven again and again its ability to identify, scale and launch successful cyber security, safety, security and privacy companies,” commented Dave DeWalt, Founder and Managing Director at NightDragon.

“We look forward to working hand in hand with the team to explore investment opportunities and help our portfolio companies expand their global footprints through its Ignition technology specialist company, and enter the critical, growing European market.”

The partnership forms part of NightDragon’s move to expand its strategic relationships with leading go-to-market organisations under its business unit ND Go-to-Market. With the addition of this latest master agreement, NightDragon portfolio companies will receive preferred onboarding and channel strategy consulting from Exclusive Networks.

The companies and their resellers will both receive enhanced levels of enablement and ongoing support from the distributor’s Ignition business, which it acquired back in July of this year.

Those perks include business development, pre-sales support, transactional support, as well as training and certification. Vendors will also receive assistance with value proposition creation and vetted introductions to key resellers in the region, the firm said.

“This alliance with NightDragon and its portfolio of late-stage scale-up vendors maps perfectly with our track record of helping to propel many such organisations to IPO with sustained market expansion,” said Jesper Trolle, CEO of Exclusive Networks.

“At the same time, it complements both our Ignition Technology ‘launchpad’ for early and mid-stage start-up vendors alongside the continued strong focus we concentrate upon established late stage start-ups as they scale-out.”
