Bytes Technology Group, parent company of Bytes Software Services, has announced the acquisition of IT security specialist Security Partnerships Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Bytes Software Services boasts annual revenues in excess of £150m and the UK’s second biggest Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Large Account Reseller.
Reading-based Security Partnerships is a £10m business that provides managed services and solutions to both corporate and public sector organisations. The acquisition will broaden Bytes’ current security software portfolio to include implementation and support services to customers.
“IT security continues to be high on our customers’ agenda and the more we can help and support their business the better it is for ours,” said Neil Murphy, group managing director, Bytes Technology Group.
“It’s a very focused operation with a proven track record of profitable growth and a strong, young and dynamic workforce.”
The firm says it will continue to look for acquisition targets to “complement and diversify” its existing offerings.
