Datto RMM now offers improved integration with ConnectWise Manage

IT firm Datto has announced improved integration between its Datto RMM platform and professional services automation (PSA) tool ConnectWise Manage.

Building upon the existing ease, reliability, scalability and security that the RMM platform provides, the company said the revamp gives MSPs more flexibility of monitoring and managing remote IT assets and escalations from ConnectWise Manage.

The improved integration means technical staff can seamlessly work between the two platforms, benefitting from reliable and real-time updates of ConnectWise Manage tickets generated by RMM alerts.

With its new streamlined interface, users are able to move between the PSA tool and RMM with a single click – ultimately reducing the time needed to access data, understand an issue and deliver the necessary support.

“We believe our MSP partners must have the flexibility to leverage the tools that are right for them, and not be limited by vendor,” said Emily Glass, Datto’s chief project officer. “This fosters the type of innovation the industry needs to thrive and enables our partners to make the best technology choices for their business.”

Datto RMM boasts a hardened infrastructure, physical access controls, SOC2 compliance and automated patching for third-party applications. With the additional ConnectWise

API, partners have the ability to maintain an integrated, scalable and secure management platform without the need to self-host.

“We’ve been listening to partner feedback and have delivered and RMM-PSA integration that creates a seamless and audited workflow for resolving IT issues,” commented Ian van Reenen, engineering VP at Datto.

“Our improved integration with ConnectWise will remove inefficiencies and allow engineers to focus on getting the job done faster and more effectively.”
