Ingram Micro adds Google Workspace to portfolio
Partners will now be able to bundle complementary services to provide holistic support for their customers, firm claims
Ingram Micro Cloud UK has announced a new partnership with Google Cloud that will add Google Workspace to the distributor’s portfolio.
Formerly known as G Suite, Google Workspace provides a highly secure, easy to use business collaboration and productivity platform that incorporates a wide range of programs – including Gmail, Docs and Drive.
Ingram Micro Cloud UK says the addition brings greater choice to its partners and resellers and reinforces its commitment to delivering “the most robust ecosystem to build successful cloud businesses”.
“Ingram Micro Cloud’s outlook is closely aligned to Google Cloud,” commented Scott Murphy, Cloud Director at Ingram Micro Cloud UK. “Both parties are focused on providing resellers with the portfolio breadth they require to grow, with Ingram Micro Cloud being a key player in ensuring they reach their full market potential.”
Google Workspace offers a set of collaboration and productivity tools to help resellers’ SMB and enterprise customers drive revenue and growth opportunities.
These include communication tools Gmail, Calendar, Currents, Meet, Voice and Chat; collaboration offerings such as Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, Keep, Jamboard and Drive; as well as Vault, Cloud Search, Admin and Security Center for control.
Partners will be able to bundle complementary services to provide holistic solutions to their end customers, as well as gain access to the distributor’s own enablement services and go-to-market support. This will allow them to monetise their cloud businesses through Ingram’s new Evolve partner programme, the firm says.
