LogRhythm names Richard Vines new UK&I channel manager
LogRhythm confirms ex-Citrix channel exec Richard Vines will lead its UK&I channel

Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) vendor LogRhythm has recruited former Citrix channel development manager Richard Vines to head up its sales channel in the UK and Ireland.
“We are very pleased to welcome Richard to LogRhythm, and his expertise will certainly be vital to our continued growth and success,” comments Stuart Quinsey, director of channels EMEA at LogRhythm.
“As the security landscape becomes increasingly complex, and with mounting pressure to meet strict compliance regulations, more organisations are looking at ways to enhance their cyber defences. As a result, the value of pervasive visibility is becoming increasingly apparent. Richard’s vast experience in designing and implementing successful channel programmes throughout the EMEA region will ensure that our partners are able to capitalise on the opportunities that security intelligence presents in the marketplace.”
In addition to Citrix, Vines – who took up his new position at LogRhythm in December – has also held positions at Imation Mobile Security, which was acquired by encryption specialist IronKey in 2011, and software vendor CA Technologies.
LogRhythm says it has a 100 percent two tier channel model across EMEA and distributes to 19 geographies via Exclusive Networks, as well as other specialised agreements in the Middle East. It also has a multi-nation MSSP and systems integrator strategy that includes the likes of ATOS, Siemens and Capita.
