In the editor's chair: Byte Night's Ken Deeks
This afternoon, Ken Deeks, founder of Byte Night is editing the site.

This Friday, many people in the IT industry will step outside of their comfort zones to help support a worthy cause - Action for Children.
Byte Night, as the event has been dubbed, will see many (including team IT Pro. You can sponsor us here) sleep under the stars for the evening to help raise money for homeless children and young people.
Last year it rained non-stop. But we're the lucky ones. We were able to head home to a warm shower/bath the next morning. The people Byte Night aims to support don't have such luxuries to look forward to.
Ken Deeks, founder of Byte Night, will be taking over the editor's chair this afternoon. He'll be helping to shape the news agenda and giving his thoughts on the issues of the day. If you have any questions for him, get in touch.
