1&1 launches new web tools for improving digital presence
1&1 MyWebsite 8 helps companies improve their online visibility with an improved dashboard
Web hosting provider 1&1 has launched its latest suite of web service tools for businesses hoping to leverage their digital presence.
1&1 MyWebsite 8 has been designed to present small businesses with the insights they need to boost their web rankings from one single dashboard called the 1&1 Online Success Centre.
The tool comprises three sections. Basic Information allows businesses to ensure their contact details, opening hours and directions are all correct, which can have a big impact on Google Local results. The dashboard will display how these elements are presented from within Google so they can be tweaked to make them more appealing for potential customers.
Online Directories provides direction on where the company is listed, such as Google Maps and Yelp. If 1&1 feels there is room for improvement, it will suggest how the information can be adjusted to make it more relevant for those performing local searches. This can be automated so 1&1 manages the element on their behalf.
The final part of the 1&1 Online Success Centre is Content Optimisation, which analyses how well the business is performing in search engines. If the dashboard shows there's room for improvement, 1&1 can provide the SEO tools to help a business' visibility improve.
Robert Hoffmann, CEO 1&1 Internet said: "Since 2008, 1&1 has been committed to being a strong partner for small businesses by continually enhancing our website builder year after year. With 1&1 MyWebsite 8 we introduce an industry first approach for small businesses to increase their online visibility. The new 1&1 Online Success Centre allows small businesses to get found easily on search engines and to be listed on the most influential online directories in a matter of just a view clicks".
