"It's this focus and vision that has enabled us to deliver industry-leading product innovation, attract a top-notch customer base with recognised global brands and achieve record earnings and profitability in the last announced quarter. The acquisition will also give Aurea access to Jive's large customer database, which currently includes T-Mobile, Schneider Electric, McAfee and EMC.
"We believe Aurea clients that are engaged in improving customer experience will embrace the focus on employee engagement, and Jive clients focused on employee engagement will leverage Aurea technology to extend that transformation to their customers," Aurea CEO Scott Brighton said. "We look forward to achieving great success with Jive."
Jive will be rolled into Aurea's family of companies, although neither company has revealed what will happen to Jive's staff or whether it will be a spin off-company or operate as part of Aurea's core software business.
The deal is expected to close in June 2017, according to Fortune.
