watsonx Code Assistant for Z interactive demo
Accelerate mainframe application modernization at lower cost

IBM watsonx™ Code Assistant for Z is a generative AI-assisted product built to accelerate mainframe application modernization at lower cost and with less risk than today’s alternatives.
Follow developers who work together to modernize a large COBOL application that is integral to their business. They generate and insert a detailed explanation as a comment into existing COBOL, refactor a COBOL service that is dispersed across the application, transform the COBOL service to Java with the help of generative AI, then validate the newly generated Java.
Try this interactive demo of watsonx Code Assistant for Z.
